New Express Steam Train

Saturday’s only until October 31.

Train 1 departs Virginia City at 8 am, arrives Carson City at 9:20 am

(Train 1 is a one way train only, you will have to provide your own transportation from the Carson City station, take a hotel jitney or return to Virginia City on the 5pm train)

Round trip Train 2 departs Carson City at 10am arrives Virginia City at approx. 11:30

Train 3 departs Virginia City at 3pm and returns to Carson City at 4:20

Train 4 departs Carson City at 5pm, arrives in Virgina City at 6:15pm

(Train 4 is also a one way train only, you will have to provide your own transportation from the station or take the jitney bus back to Carson City)

Virginia City Depot is located just below main steet at F Street and Washington in Virginia City.

Carson City Eastgate depot is located on Flint drive- six miles east on US highway 50 from downtown Carson City.

No reservations required for regular excursion trains, Virginia City to Gold Hill.

Plenty of free parking at the Virginia City depot. Relax at our picnic tables and enjoy the 100 mile Nevada views!

Directions to Eastgate depot in Carson City

From Carson City go east on Highway 50 for 4.9 miles.

Turn right on Flint drive for 0.5 miles.

Turn left and follow signs to depot.
